Seeta Anarishkwa began her artistic career at the ripe age of three, when she discovered the magic of
crayons and created a masterpiece on the walls of her bedroom.
Following a flourishing artistic career in high school, Seeta pursued an art degree in college. This was interrupted by marriage--eventually followed by a divorce and
a happy re-marriage--and though she never did get that degree, it certainly
didn't put a stop to her art!
After her initial foray into the world of wax color on drywall, Seeta has moved on through
various other media and genres, eventually finding herself a
comfortable home in acrylic paints, Native American art and wildlife. She's particularly fond of western American wildlife and the tales of the Wyandot people, of which her husband is a descendant.
Seeta currently lives with four of her six children and her husband in an area that is quite the far cry from her smoggy childhood
home, a place where a coyote's howl is commonplace and the sunset is never anything less than breathtaking.
